RED MESS

Red Mess is a Stoner Rock trio that was formed in 2013 in Londrina, Brazil. Douglas (drums) and Thiago (guitar), who have known each other since childhood, found the band’s structure solidified with the arrival of bassist Lucas, transforming Red Mess into one of the most exciting bands in the Brazilian underground rock scene. The band’s musical style sits at the intersection of Progressive and Stoner Rock, drawing influence from the raw, gritty energy of the Brazilian underground.
In 2017, Red Mess was invited to join Ukrainian Stoner Rock band Stoned Jesus on their Brazil tour. Now, the band is focusing on expanding its presence in Europe, having released three EPs ("Crimson" 2014, "Drowning in Red" 2015, "Phantom Limb" 2022) and an album, "Into the Mess" (2017), all under Brazil’s Abraxas Records. Their latest album, "Breathtaker" (2022), is being released by All Good Clean Records in Norway, coinciding with their first European tour in the fall of 2022.
Known for their explosive live shows, Red Mess brings a raw, emotional intensity to the stage, an experience that has become central to their identity. Producer Galego Teixeira, who witnessed numerous Red Mess concerts in sweltering Brazilian bars, captured the band's unpolished, visceral sound on the album "Breathtaker," successfully transferring that same energy into the recordings.
